South Korean star to sign for Wigan

South Korean star to sign for Wigan

South Korean midfield player Kim Jung-Woo is in negotiations with Premier League club Wigan Athletic following a successful trial and impressing Latics boss Steve Bruce

The 25 year old midfielder is available on a free transfer after completing a two year contract with perhaps Japans most famous club, Grampus Eight, Kim also has appeared in 34 games for his country.

Kim was linked with a move to Rangers and Anderlecht earlier this season but Latics now appear favourites to land the midfield man with his agent stating:

"The transfer is not confirmed yet but if there are no differences with Wigan, we can make a deal. Both player and Wigan were positive about the trial."

"We are negotiating at the moment."
