Return of the Jeweller

Next Saturday will see the return of a legend to the JJB with ex Wigan Athletic boss Paul Jewell bringing his new club Derby County to town

This will be Jewells first return, its almost a year since he left and it will be interesting to see what reception he gets.

Last months reverse fixture at Pride Park saw the Latics travelling fans chant Jewells name for long periods and at times it got quite emotional.

Paul Jewell worked a miracle at our club and left after performing another one on the last day of last season by keeping the club up against all the odds.

Derby aren`t doing too well but just lately they have started to put some performance together and in their last away day they got a creditable draw at Birmingham

We need the points and we are the stronger and better outfit so I would expect a victory for the Latics but I don`t think we will steamroll them like some do

Jewells magic is slowly starting to work at Derby, remember it took him nearly 6 months at the JJB to turn us round.

Lets hope that next Saturday the legend will return and then leave with nothing more than a wave to the fans and the three points will be ours
