Wilson Palacios Man of the Match

The voters on the last poll on Vital Wigan voted for the new Latics legend Wilson Palacios to receive the Man of the Match gong for last Saturday`s game at Eastlands against Manchester City

He had a stormer

Wilson gave his usual all action display, in fact he had a stormer, and could have won the game for the Latics in the closing minutes when he had a great chance but found his goal bound effort blocked

What the poll asked - Man of the Match Vs Man City

How you voted - Wilson Palacios 68%, Antonio Valencia 9%, Chris Kirkland 7%

Current Poll - This Sunday sees Sky Sports bring their cameras to the JJB to televise the home game against Arsenal in what promises to be a cracking game.

Fresh from their triumph over Milan in the Champions League, Arsene Wengers team will be looking to consolidate top spot in the league with a win over the Latics, but they could well be in for a shock.

The Gunners have drawn their last two league games and with Latics winning their last two at home and taking the state of the pitch into account we just might have a turn up for the books this weekend.

I for one fancy our chances and I know a lot will depend on Wengers team selection and how well they get over the trip back from Italy but I can see the Latics nicking a goal and then frustrating Arsenal to sneak a one niler that`s me, but you have a go in the poll and lets us know - 'Who will win on Sunday`

Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.

The poll can be accessed on the right side of this page
