'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Palacios does it again

The voters on the last poll on Vital Wigan once again placed Wilson Palacios as Man of the Match in last Sunday s game at the JJB against local rivals Bolton

Palacios has quickly become a firm favourite at the club and his all action full of energy display in Latics 1-0 win helped to make it appear that Bolton played 85 minutes with 10 men and not the Latics as was the case

There was other good displays in the team notably Chris Kirkland in goal who pulled off a couple of cracking saves and his current form has earned him a place in the latest England squad, nice one Chris.

What the poll asked - Man of the Match Vs Bolton

How you voted - Wilson Palacios 46%, Chris Kirkland 35%, Paul Scharner 8%

Current Poll - On Saturday Latics take the short trip through Chorley into East Lancashire to face another of our close neighbours, Blackburn Rovers, in what is always an eventful game.

Rovers are our Chairmans 2nd favourite club and he featured in an FA Cup Final with them back in 1960 sadly breaking his leg and being carried from the pitch.

But with the stakes high sentiment cant stand in the way and both teams will be going all out for victory so - 'Who will win on Saturday?`

The poll can be accessed on the right side of this page
