Rob's Prediction Latics Rovers

Wigan travel away on Saturday 22nd March to the delights of Ewood Park and Blackburn will want their revenge for a 5-3 drubbing earlier in the season.

However, that said, Wigan have improved significantly under Steve Bruce and not conceded in the last few games and that's down to the defensive spark that has become promising of late.

Whilst our defence is solid, the same cannot be said quite as such for our attack which, whilst creditable, is not scoring on a regular enough basis but now Emile is back on the score sheet, this might just prove to be the boost the attack needs and King will undoubtedly get his name on the score sheet before long.

Blackburn are a good side but they come up against a Wigan side full of confidence after keeping a clean sheet in their last few games and who need points to ensure their survival.

After the terrific 1-0 win over Bolton, with defence up to speed and Heskey on the score sheet, this might just prove to be a very interesting game all round and ultimately, one in which both teams cancel each other out.

ROB'S PREDICTION: 0-0

One of the toughest predictions of the year so far but with the desire for points from our point of view and Blackburn's own desire to notch up the table, this has all the hallmarks of a draw written over it.

Unfortunately, with the solid defence and the goal shy attack of late, I can see this being a goalless affair but with Emile now back to scoring ways, this just might be the day where the visitors cause an upset.
