Heskey Earns Plaudits

Heskey Earns Plaudits

Wigan Athletic striker Emile Heskey won the Vital Wigan man of the match award for last weekends game against Portsmouth at Fratton Park

In a game where Latics had enough chances to have won comfortably only to lose 2-0 Heskey turned in a super display of centre forward play, the only thing missing was a goal.

Heskey won almost every header during the match and he led Pompey`s centre back pairing of Sol Campbell and Sylvan Distin a merry dance

What the poll asked - Man of the match in Pompey game

How you voted - Emile Heskey 37%

Current Poll - With Latics losing for the second game in a row it puts us right back in the relegation mix and with this weeks crucial game against fellow strugglers Birmingham coming up it seems like an ideal time to review who will follow Derby through the trap door.

Fulham are struggling and cant buy an away win whilst our good old neighbours Bolton are looking doomed, cant say I`d be sorry about that but there are others in there so - 'Who will go down with Derby?`
