Scharner says 'Pressure on Chelsea`

Wigan Athletic defender Paul Scharner claims all the pressure will be on Chelsea as the Latics prepare for their Monday night visit to the capital.

With the West London club chasing title favourites Manchester United it is a must win game for Avram Grants side and although the Latics are in the bottom half relegation is looking very unlikely.

Scharner said:

'Chelsea can't afford to drop points at home.

'They are a very strong side, have world-class players even on the bench, but I still feel United will win the title.'

With the Latics having a full squad to chose from for the first time in a while and with the top 4 hoodoo broken after Latics securing draws against Liverpool and Arsenal already this season I can see a creditable 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge

A draw would be a fantastic result and would all but secure Premier League status once more

Report - Latics 0 Forest 0 - What A Shocker

Thirteen games to save our Championship status, first up a home game against Nottingham Forest who are on a shocking run of form, conceded 10 goals in their last three matches, three of their first choice defenders missing through injury, they had lost 11 of their 16 away games this season with a -16 goal difference on the road and sat just six points above us in the table, surely a game that we would set out to win.

Checking the team selection I felt slightly optimistic but slightly conf
