Jimmy Bullard back to Wigan

Jimmy Bullard back to Wigan

Over the past week we have conducted a poll at Vital Wigan asking Latics fans who out of our recently left players you would have back at the club

Jimmy Bullard come on home

With a massive 43% of the vote former midfield nutcase Jimmy Bullard topped the poll and with his current club Fulham seemingly heading for relegation to the Championship a transfer could well be on the cards for Jimmy this summer

Jason Roberts was another player to do well in the poll and he finished in 2nd place with 34% of the vote, both Bullard and Roberts were firm fans favourites whilst at the JJB and this affection still appears to be strong

Of the seven players nominated Nathan Ellington faired the poorest only receiving 2% of the votes cast, I bet the Duke wishes he could turn back the clock to that fateful day in 2005 when he left for that big club 'West Brom`.

What the poll asked - 'Who we`d welcome back to the club as a player`

How you voted:

1. Jimmy Bullard 43%
2. Jason Roberts 34%
3. Leighton Baines 7%
4. Lee McCulloch 6%
5. Denny Landzaat 5%
6. Pascal Chimbonda 3%
7. Nathan Ellington 2%

Current Poll - Talking of the past and now looking to the future, on Monday there is a big game in West London where the Latics travel to take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in a game that could have ramifications for both clubs

Latics are looking to secure their 4th season has a Premier League club and another 3 points should make that a reality whilst Chelsea are hot on the heals of Manchester United in the race to be crowned Champions of England

Latics will have their full squad apart from Erik Edman available for this game and in my opinion don`t be surprised if a draw is achieved by Steve Bruces men, but it aint my opinion that counts, so - 'Who will win in the Monday Night Game?`

The poll can be accessed on the right side of this page

Jimmy would be a good addition back at the Latics but I honestly cant see it coming off, as for Monday I believe a 1-1 will be order of the day

We have a similar but better player with us now in Palacios but would still welcome back Jimmy in the unlikely event that he re-signed

Heard he wants to stay at Fulham even if they go down...nice to see a bit of loyalty if thats the case

In this post-fact world, it is difficult to know who you can trust.

So trust nobody, not even yourself. Latics lifting the FA Cup in 2013? Quite clearly a hoax manufactured by cigar-cho
