Cotterill is home sick for Wigan

Wigan Athletics young Welsh star David Cotterill appears to be feeling home sick as he contemplates life away from the Latics during his loan spell at Championship club Sheffield United.

In an interview with BBC Sheffield Cotterill states that he sees his own future at the JJB and cant wait to get back to Wigan, Cotterill said:

'Steve Bruce said I still had a future at Wigan'

'I can't decide my own future because I'm contracted to Wigan and they'll decide things. It's up to them.'

'You never know in football what will happen'

'Antonio Valencia is playing very well at the moment for Wigan.

'I just feel I need to get back in there, see if I get a chance and then take it.'

David Cotterill has started 11 games for the Sheffield United since joining in February.
