'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Henri Camara Still Got Two Years!

Wigan Athletic striker and current West Ham United loanee Henri Camara has been talking to the press about his current situation in football, lack of first team action, should he go to Spain or not, the usual stuff he always talked about except he has mentioned a quite astonishing fact.

Henri Camara has still got two years on his Wigan Athletic contract remaining.

This is amazing and whatever you think of Camara`s agent, Willie McKay one thing you cant knock him for is getting his players decent contracts.

Camara signed on the dotted line in August 2005 when he joined from Wolverhampton Wanderers for 3.5 million and he must have been given a five year deal.

For a player of Camara`s reputation I find it almost unthinkable that Latics chairman Dave Whelan would sanction a contract of that length and size, no wonder little Henri has always got a smile on his face.

He told a French sports magazine that he had to stay at Wigan for another two years and then he could go to Spain.

He said that what he can gain here (is that money?) he cannot anywhere else.

Camara said:

"What I gain here, I cannot have it in another championship.

'Therefore, I am obliged to remain at least two years. I will be able to go thereafter to Spain.'

Camara also said that he would not rule out going on loan, even to a Championship side so long as he played.

I bet he wouldnt, he`d still be getting the big wages and if he bagged a hatful of goals in the Championship, which after all is his level, he would put himself in the shop window for his preferred move to some Spanish mugs, oops side, at least he`d be out of our hair.
