Vital Wigan THE place to be

Vital Wigan THE place to be

Vital Wigan was the number ONE Latics fan site on the internet in 2007 and it will be again in 2008, first with breaking news, match previews, reports and stats, polls, competitions and fun, debate and discussion and our own Fantasy Football.

Vital Wigan was the first site to break the news on Jewell leaving, Hutchings appointment, Koumas signing, Brambles coming and also the shambles over Paul Robinsons transfer was broken here days before anywhere else.

Vital Wigan was the first to tell the world that Hutch would be sacked after the Chelsea game, four weeks before he was!

Vital Wigan also told the world at that time to expect Steve Bruce as the new Latics boss, funny how we always get it right.

Our exclusives are exactly that, exclusive, we have inside information from the very heart of the club and a source that is rock solid, so if you want to know whats going on at the Latics first then you know where to come.

Vital Wigan has a vibrant message board and forum, we have Latics fans contributing not only from Wigan but from the far reaches of the world, we have regular posters from the United States, Australia, Thailand, Honduras and New Zealand as well as the length and breadth of the UK.

We have great friendly banter with opposition supporters and are part of a network that allows easy access to other clubs message boards.

We are also closely monitored so there is no abuse of any type tolerated making Vital Wigan and the Vital network a fun place for all Latics supporters.

We are run by Latics supporters for Latics supporters and we welcome contributions from all, so if you fancy writing an article then do so and we will publish it, suggest a poll and see if you get the expected outcome, join in the debates and discussions it is a really friendly place or just enjoy the site.

Latics v Wolves - Big Game Preview

There is a little bit of pressure starting to mount down at the Latics, no win in seven games and sitting bottom of the pile, the sooner we can get a three points haul in the bag the better.

Gary Caldwell felt that his team were unlucky not to win the game at Preston on Friday never mind lose it, a wickedly deflected effort early on followed by some resolute defending kept the Latics at bay, but a failure to take two excellent chances was the downfall as we lost by the odd goal for the 7t
