Vote for your Wigan MoM

Wigan Athletic produced a shock result in attaining a draw at Chelsea and in doing so have set a fervour of opinion from pundits as to why the Latics managed to spoil the Chelsea party

Well I`ll tell you a few reasons why they managed to pull off the draw last night, Chris Kirkland, Emile Heskey, Paul Scharner and Emerson Boyce, they were all magnificent.

Kirkland had an inspired performance, pulling off two incredible saves and giving an all round solid display of quality goalkeeping whilst Heskey led the line superbly and grabbed the goal at the death.

Scharner and Boyce were immense in the centre of the Latics defence and put their bodies on the line time and time again.

The Vital Wigan Man of the Match is a fans award and although the only winner possible in my eyes is Chris Kirkland its down to the majority to decide, so please cast your vote and lets pick the man of the match from the Chelsea game
