Villa Vs Latics the man in the middle

Rob Styles is scheduled to referee this weekends game between Villa and the Latics at Villa Park in a game that carries importance to both clubs.

Waterloovilles own, Mr Styles, has taken charge of both Latics and Villa already this season, his one game for the Villa ended up with a 4-1 drubbing for the Birmingham club and two players, Nigel Reo-Coker and Scott Carson being sent off mmm.

In contrast Styles has refereed the Latics on 3 occasions so far this season, the 1-1 draw with Fulham at the JJB back in October, the 1-0 defeat away at Middlesbrough in January and our 0-0 draw at home to Arsenal in March

In those 3 games a total of 4 Latics players picked up yellow cards and there were no reds issued.

An interesting note is that neither Villa nor the Latics have won a game this season that Styles has officiated in

oh dear oh dear...Styles...the ref who thinks everyone has paid to come and watch him.......look at me with me full head of black hair (i dont use grecian 2000...honest) ......one of the leagues worst....
