Bruce to finalise 4 million deal for Amr Zaki

Steve Bruce is flying out to Egypt today to discuss terms with Amr Zaki a 25 year old striker for El Zamelek.

Zaki who has scored 21 goals for the national team in 40 appearences is beleived to be available for around 4 million pounds according to his agent Mohamed Said speaking to the Egyptian football site yallakora.com.

Wigan are beleived to have had a 4.1 million bid turned down in January but Bruce's decision to fly out to Egypt spells a renewed determination to sign Amr.

He is planning on wathcjng Zaki play tonight and discussing terms with his agent. SB flying out there is a clear indication of the serious intent to sign Zaki

That's a player who I can tell you lots about him. He's very good striker. He's similar in style to Drogba. He's not the most skillful player, but he's a fighter. He's strong, agressive and has an eye for goal. He would be a great signing for you imo!
