Wigan player of the season voting..24 hours left

Get voting for your Wigan Athletic player of the season 2007/08 before the polling station closes at 1700 hours BST on Tuesday 6th May 2008

This has been a strange season, a very bright start, top after three games, a disastrous middle, 14 games without a win including 8 straight defeats and then the turn-a-round, 31 points in the second half of the season.

Since Steve Bruce came to the club the whole place has been lifted and a renewed confidence in the players coincided with what can only be described as a fantastic finish to the season.

Unfortunately you cannot vote for Steve Bruce in the 'Player of the Season` poll but you can vote for some of the star performers of that turn-a-round.

Wilson Palacios has been a breath of fresh air and he`s quickly become something of a Latics Legend, he`s also helped to put our club as the number one European side in Honduras!

Paul Scharner back in defence and we stop conceding, its simple, he`s been awesome.

Chris Kirklands form since the arrival of new goalkeeping coach Nigel Spink is nothing short of sensational.

Michael Brown, tenacious as ever, Mario Melchiot, class at the back, Antonio Valencia, pure quality and Kevin Kilbane and Emerson Boyce, reliable, dependable and always 100%, there are lots of contenders for the Player of the Season award.

Don`t let your favourite player this season miss out, ensure you cast your vote before tomorrows deadline, just follow the link below.
