Wilson Palacios Looking Forward to Sunday

Wigan Athletic and Honduran superstar Wilson Palacios is geared up for the game of the season at the JJB this Sunday when the Latics take on title winning hopefuls Manchester United

In an interview with Latics official club website Palacios looked back on his short time at the club and what it means to play for the Latics and how he sees this weekends game going.

Wilson said:

"All I am interested in is helping the team beat Manchester United"

"I have settled really well here, we have a great manager in Steve Bruce and a fantastic team spirit, the club is moving forward and I am really loving it"

"The boss showed a lot of faith to bring me here, the Latics fans have been fantastic to me and its worked out very well"

"I have worked hard to get myself to this position and I am just focusing on being consistent and working to the best of my ability, along with the rest of the team there is only one thing on our minds at the moment, winning on Sunday"

"This week the training started off really low key but as the week progressed it really has intensified getting us all itching to get on that pitch on Sunday"

"We will be playing one of the biggest games of the season and its really exciting"

"All my friends and family back home in Honduras will be watching the game and I am determined to put on a good show, they want to see one of their own performing in this match"

"We believe we can win, of course we do, Manchester United have world class players all over the pitch, so what? We are eleven against eleven and our players are all full internationals with lots of experience"

"We had no fear when we played Chelsea, so why should we go into this match with any fear?"

Good to hear that the players are really up for this game
