Vote for your Man of the Match

Vote for your Man of the Match

For the last time this season the Vital Wigan man of the match poll is up and running for Wigan Athletics game against Manchester United

The game saw United crowned English champions with more than a little help from referee Steve Bennett, awarding them a dubious penalty and turning down a blatant one for the Latics following a hand ball by Ferdinand

The Latics played extremely well and could have scored on numerous occasions, there were some big performances from Chris Kirkland, Antonio Valencia, Michael Brown and of course Wilson Palacios was his usual effervescent self

Special mention however should go to Maynor Figueroa who was absolutely superb considering he was making his full debut, he was solid throughout and he had two rasping shots, one in each half, he is one for the future that`s for certain.

These polls have been fun to run this season and I would like to thank all those who participate, so have a last go choosing your Latics man of the match for this season

The poll can be accessed on the right side of this page
