'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Valencia Looks to another Year at the Latics

Wigan Athletic flying Ecuadorian midfield man Antonio Valencia told his home countries news paper El Universo that he is looking to stay at the JJB for at least one more season and that he knows nothing of Manchester Uniteds reported interest in him.

Valencia said:

'I have not been told anything about it'

'I never spoke with Manchester United'

"It seems that they (Latics) want me to stay one more year.

'I feel good to be able to play in The Premier League.

'I hope this will help me play for a bigger team. If it does not happen this year, maybe next year.

'English football is very difficult. I have started to study because you have to speak English to be able to play there.'

So Antonio looks to stay another year and he`s learning English in Wigan, smashing
