Palacios and Figueroa Back home for Final

Wigan Athletic Honduran players Wilson Palacios and Maynor Figueroa have arrived back in Honduras to watch their former club Olimpia take on Marathon in an end of season Championship play-off.

Both players were mobbed like superstars when they arrived at the Ramón Villeda Morales airport yesterday afternoon and there was a posse of press photographers waiting for them.

Wilson is expected to go to Ceiba after the game to visit his family whilst Maynor is going to take in some training with former club Olimpia.

Both players are expected to stay in Honduras for their World Cup 2010 qualifiers against Puerto Rico on the 4th June in Honduras and the return in Puerto Rico on the 14th June
