Granqvist Goes Dutch

Granqvist Goes Dutch

Wigan Athletic centre-back Andreas Granqvist is lining up a move to Eredivisie club FC Groningen once the Euro 2008 championships are over

The big Swede has been on loan at his former club Helsingborg since January and he looks likely to have played his last match for the Latics.

FC Groningen have finished in 7th spot in the Dutch league this season and Granqvist likes the idea of playing in Holland, he told Sportbladet:

'I know they have come to watch me'

'It's a good club and Dutch football has improved.'

So it looks like good bye Andreas
