Taylor to Hull, you're having a laugh

Taylor to Hull, you're having a laugh

It is being reported that Wigan Athletic versatile defender/midfield player Ryan Taylor is the subject of a £750,000 bid from Hull City

It would take a lot more than £750,000 to tempt the Latics to sell Taylor who is an important member of Steve Bruces squad at the JJB and it was only 4 months ago that Bruce was comparing Taylor to David Beckham.

It would be some coup if Hull boss Phil Brown could manage to get Taylor at all never mind for the ridiculously low fee being mentioned.

With the FIFA 6+5 ruling coming in two seasons from now the cost of English players to other English clubs will surely rocket, after all supply and demand dictates this

Ryan Taylor, hopefully, is part of manager Steve Bruces plans for the coming seasons and at 22 he is young enough to be around at the Latics for a few years to come

Without being disrespectful to Hull the Latics are a club more equipped for Premier League survival and indeed if the finish to last season is anything to go by the future is indeed bright at Wigan, surely Ryan Taylor would want to be part of that

This is just the Tabloid editors being creative. I hadn't heard a single mention of Hull's interest in Taylor until this morning (I am a Hull Fan). I really can't believe that Hull would be making moves for players established in other Prem teams... It's just not the way it's done. I don't think there is anything in this myself. Just the tabloids being naughty in the Silly Season.

ANY offer for Taylor should be shunned. Super Mario will be too old really when the 6+5 rule comes in and Taylor would make a more than capable replacement. That's as well as being an absolutely brilliant squad player.

The 6+5 rule won't come in. It won't get past the EU.

Ryan has and is a ledgend at Wigan, they will have to take a good hard look at themselves if they where to sell this guy. It would also take alot more than 750k, you couldn't buy he's left foot for that. He's not not as good as David Beckham yet. But he's only 22 still year young he's right foot wow. He's brilliant at short and long passes and at free kicks. He isn't the fastest player will the the ball not David Beckham has never been that. He can take the ball past people easily Taylor to Wigan is like Giggs to United a legend. Lets hope this guy stays at our club for a long time I wouldn't be supprised if 1 of the big 1's come in for him to be honest
