Hendry Thomas Signs for Latics

Honduras midfield star Hendry Thomas signed a six month loan deal with Wigan Athletic last night following playing in his countries 1-1 draw with Venezuela

Latics boss Steve Bruce flew out to Florida earlier this week to watch the game, which took place at Fort Laudardale, and to tie up this deal which brings in Latics` star Wilson Palacios` international midfield partner.

Bruce also ran the rule over other players in the game notably Hondurans Victor 'Muma' Bernardez and Boniek Garcia whom Latics are now linked with

There is a little piece of Honduras in South East Lancashire, it stands aside the River Douglas and like the flag of the catracho it is also Blue and White

With Thomas, Palacios, Figueroa and possibly Bernadez and Garcia we have used up our 5 rule now we need 6 English players

South West Lancs if you please. Seriously Thomas' signign is great news for the club and if Figueroa's signign is confirmed then the positive momentum of Kirkland's re-signign will be continued. Z
