Fulham Back in for Scharner

Vital Wigan understand that Fulham are preparing another bid for Wigan Athletic fans player of the season Paul Scharner

Fulham tried to recruit the Austrian back in January but Latics weren`t prepared to deal at that time, with Scharner now stalling over renewing his contract Steve Bruce might decide to cash in and raise some transfer funds.

Scharner is entering the last year of his contract and although it appears that the club are negotiating an extension if an agreement cant be met then there is every possibility that he would be allowed to leave now for a fee rather than on a free next summer.

Hope not merlin but he's only got one year left on his contract and the club might want to cash in if he wont extend his current deal, heard that Everton and Newcastle are also interested as well as Fulham
