Wilson, Maynor and Honduras in easy victory

Wilson, Maynor and Honduras in easy victory

Honduras won the first leg 4-0 of their World Cup 2010 Qualifier to a poor Puerto Rico team with Wigan Athletic star midfield man Wilson Palacios scoring Honduras 2nd goal.

The other goals were scored by David Suazo (Inter de Milan) who got two and Julio de Leon got the other (Genoa Italy).

It was a Rainy night and the pitch was a mess, it was more of a pool instead of a football field.

Wigan were represented on the pitch also by Maynor Figueroa who played the full 90 minutes the same as Wilson Palacios.

This is just the first round, all the 'strong' teams were seeded against a weaker team from the Caribbean, after passing Puerto Rico things get harder as the region gets divided into groups

Honduras will be in a group with Mexico, Jamaica & Canada, the winners and runners up of all the groups fight for three places in the World Cup finals

Zaki scores Today as Egypt win over Geboti 4-0..Zaki scored the first goal with a pure class header after a defensive plan from Geboti and made the game much easier for Egypt..He is indeed our hero

Blackpool 1-3 Wigan Match Report

David Perkins has scored a goal for Wigan Athletic. Not the usual introduction to a match report, but some things deserve that extra limelight. Anyway, Wigan came from 1-0 behind at Blackpool to win 1
