Mario Melchiot Duobtful for Dutch Opener

Wigan Athletic skipper and Holland right back Mario Melchiot is a major injury worry as Marco Van Basten prepares his Dutch side for Monday nights game against Italy

Super Mario missed training yesterday and visited a hospital to have the extent of a groin injury assessed; Melchiot missed Latics last two game of the season with the same injury.

Vital Latics hope that Mario recovers fully and can take part in the game
