Latics start with West Ham
Wigan Athletic kick off the season with a trip to Upton Park to face West Ham United on the 16th August.
Latics first home game of the new season sees Chelsea in town on 23rd August
The season ends with the visit of Portsmouth to the JJB

That doesn't look the easiest of starts. West Ham are usually a decent side at home and then you have Scholari and his merry men!

West Ham to start of, easy :) haven't lost at Upton Park in a wile. Chelsea at the begging of the season, now thats a problem. I hope Scholari has a slow start at Chelsea :) If we would be fighting for Europe then last game home vs Pompey would be very much in handy

I spoke with the ticket office last week and they confirmed the friendly, but they couldn't announce the price of the ticket :(

According from here, In Egypt, The match will be at the JJB! but i wonder Zaki will play with Zamalek or Wigan?

I suspect that after the Euros, that's when the signings will start.
