Wigan In Pole Position To Land Klasnic

Wigan In Pole Position To Land Klasnic

Wigan Athletic are believed to be in a strong position to sign striker Ivan Klasnic, who is going to be released by his current club on a free.

With the club in much need of a strike force and with word that Zaki could just be on his way, this could make for a deadly attacking force up front but if these two strikers came to us, what would happen to our own striking hero, Emile Heskey?

If Ivan and Amr both came, perhaps Bruce would rotate the strikers but I can't see it being an amicable affair as all three would want first team regular action and add to that Sibierski's own desire for first team football and that could create a few problems.

Perhaps it is the beginning of things to come and with word of Portsmouth showing interest, perhaps Emile might just be on his way out of the JJB Stadium this summer along with Antoine Sibierski.

One thing's for sure, though, the signings of this pair would be a massive asset to the club and at the moment, the only way is up where the club seems to be heading which is excellent news.

Zaki, Heskey, Klasnic and King. A good set of forwards

Hopefully Emile stays and I agree, that looks like a formidable attacking force.

There's no need to shed anyone. Five strikers is a minimum!

I hope that our current strike force stay put and with the possible arrivals of Zaki and Klasnic, that'd only boost us which is great.
