Erik Edman targets October for his return
Erik Edman has been sidelined after receiving a serious injury during the Blackburn game away last season.
Before that unfortunate incident, Erik produced some excellent performances in defence and his contributions helped the Latics to secure top flight football for another season in the Premier League, another astute signing from Steve Bruce, for a bargain £500,000.
Now Erik is targeting an October comeback and when he does return, he will be fighting for the left back position with Maynor Figueroa, as long as the signing goes ahead.
In the meantime, Vital Wigan wishes Erik all the best and for a quick recovery.
