Wigan demand answer to Zaki transfer

The issue regarding Amr Zaki and his transfer have been the subject of speculation for quite a long time and both Latics and the player are beginning to lose patience with Zamalek.

Zaki has even gone as far as to take legal action over Zamalek in order to get his contract terminated so he can join the Latics next season.

Even though a replacement for Zaki has been found, Zamalek still refuse to let Zaki go so the Latics have asked Zamalek to provide them with an answer so that an end can be put to the whole saga, one way or the other.

With Zaki unhappy and Wigan threatening to pull out of the deal, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the deal was sanctioned if only to appease Amr Zaki.

One thing's for sure, though, if the deal didn't go ahead, I'm sure this wouldn't be the end of the matter but as for the Latics, they could move onto different targets but it would be a shame to lose out on such a talented striker.

Wish Zamalek would get their act together and allow Zaki to come. Whole saga has gone on for FAR too long.

In fairness, Zamalek did say that they would make an announcement on June 22. But I never believe anything until Latics says so, anyway.

Not too much longer but I do hope for a positive result.

No egyptian player has sold out of egypt for that kind of money. Wigan taking a risk/chance with Zaki. Zamalik and Zaki did not get along but he still gave his all in the end so what they will gain from this I dont know. Im telling u if they dont let him go he will never preform for them again... Maybe Wigan kind find another Egyptian to help Zaki adapt, Ghaly, Shekabala...
