Wigan Athletic fixture changes (already)

With the new seasons fixtures less than a week old the Latics have already had to change three for various reasons.

The away games against Everton, Spurs and Manchester United are all needing to be played on new dates.

Spurs at White Hart Lane on 20th September has been put back to Sunday 21st September due to Tottenham`s involvement in the UEFA cup.

Latics visit to Old Trafford to face champions Manchester United on December 20th will be re-arranged (no date set yet) due to Uniteds involvement in the World Club Championship.

Finally, so far, the game at Goodison to face Everton will now be played a day later on Sunday April 5th 2009 because of traffic congestion caused by the Grand National at the Aintree race course.

No doubt there will be a few more fixture changes both before and during the new season once it gets under way…keep here for all your Latics information.
