Wigan Athletic linked with Salvador Cabanas

Setanta Sports are reporting that Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce is interested in signing Salvador Cabanas from Mexican side Club America

The Paraguay international forward has also been linked with Manchester United and Cabanas` representative said that any move to England would be a good move for his player.

Jose Maria Gonzalez, who is Cabanas agent said about a proposed move to the JJB:

'It's England, as you see, and it would be a good move forward'

'In fact, we thought about it and it does not sound bad"

So maybe we have yet another forward in our sites

If Man U can show an interest he can't be too bad. Having said that his agent had some cheek to say a move to the JJB was a bit of a downer compared to Old Trafford. Cheeky so and so. Admittedly I know little of him. Does anyone have any info?
