Derby to bid for Wigans Bramble

It is being reported that Derby County boss Paul Jewell is lining up a bid to take Wigan Athletic and former Newcastle United centre back Titus Bramble to Pride Park.

Bramble only joined the Latics twelve months ago and was signed by then manager Chris Hutchings, who coincidently is now Paul Jewells assistant at Derby.

Bramble started off the season very well before a couple of mistakes that were highlighted by the media seemed to affect his confidence though he forced his way back into the team towards the end of the season and finished well.

Big, brave and strong and undoubtedly skilful Bramble is surely too good for the Latics to let go and too good for a Championship side like Derby County.

Bramble to stay. I'll start the petition now

Getting rid of Bramble would be a mistake.

Don't you think he's still a bit dodgy at times.?

And there was at Pompey having heart failure of the thought of signing him this time last summer. Poor old Derby.

His mistakes are always highly documented.

Blimey! Never thought I'd see the words 'Bramble' and 'good' in the same sentence! :)
