Wilson Palacios set to sign new deal with Wigan

Wigan Athletic midfield sensation Wilson Palacios is ready to put pen to paper on an extension to his three and half year contract with improved terms that will not only get the Honduran superstar signed up long term at the JJB but also ensure his transfer value is as high as possible.

There was a lot of interest in Palacios at the end of the season with both Manchester United and Aston Villa reportedly keen to prise the 23 year old away from Wigan so the club are acting quickly to tie their hottest asset down.

Palacios has said that he is very happy to stay at the Latics and Steve Bruce has also said that he wants to build a team around the talented catracho.

Get that contract signed Wilson and lets look forward to a good season beside the River Douglas

Has scharner actually signed his contract. Brilliant news about PALACIOS. If we do well you never know valencia might stay as them 2 are very good friends
