Wigan Athletic Klasnic deal back on?

Croatian striker Ivan Klasnic is reportedly considering offers from two clubs one being the Latics as he ponders his future away from German club Werder Bremen.

Klasnic had a very productive Euro 2008 hitting the goals for his country has they swept to the quarter finals of the tournament and this led to Wigan sending John Benson and Brenda Spencer to Austria to talk with Klasnic and his representatives.

It was expected that the striker would be signing one at the JJB once the his country had been eliminated from the tournament but when this didn`t happen there were suggestions that the proposed move had been called off due to concerns over Klasnic`s health.

The 28 year old was reportedly heading for Spain and Mallorca though it all now appears to be back on with the Latics his agent Alejandro Camano claiming:

"Ivan will definitely not go to Spain; it will be to Wigan Athletic in England.'

There is also reported interest from Italian club Torino and Klasnic is understood to be weighing up his options but ruling out Spain, he told reporters:

'Yes, I'm thinking about my future and about the offers I have, but I haven't decided anything and I'm far from signing for Mallorca.

'I also doubt that I'll take a decision before next week. I have enough offers and I'm talking with the interested clubs.

'But I will decide when I will see the offers on paper.'

So we could still yet see Ivan Klasnic in a Latics shirt, that would be a good signing if we pulled it off.
