Wigan - Zaki Transfer Entering Final Stage

The transfer of Amr Zaki from Egyptian club Zamalek to Wigan Athletic looks like it could finally be sorted with an announcement made on Zamaleks official website

The announcement roughly translates as:

Amr Zaki had a meeting today with the board of Zamalek club and the board have agreed to let Zaki join Wigan with him extending his contract by two more years

Zaki will play in Zamaleks match against Al-Ahly in the African Champions league next Sunday 20th July then join up with the Latics squad.

Will this happen or will there still be more twists and turns, who knows

I was very excited initially about the signing of Zaki to the Latics, now I will just be relieved to stop writing about it if indeed it ever happens
