Emile Heskey Best Ever Wigan Athletic Forward

Emile Heskey Best Ever Wigan Athletic Forward

Emile Heskey was voted the best ever Wigan Athletic forward by Vital Wigan pollsters.

Heskey joined the Latics from Birmingham City in the summer of 2006 and was Paul Jewells record signing for the club

There were a few raised eyebrows when Heskey arrived but his performances during his first season were awesome and he ended the season as player of the year

During his next season Heskey earned an England call up and if it hadn`t been for a string of injuries he would have won more than the two caps he did win last autumn

Well done Hesk

We are now looking for the 'best ever` Latics goalkeeper and there are a few for you to choose from in our poll with representatives from down the years .

The poll is available for all to vote on and can be found on the right side of this page.
