Wigan target Hendry Thomas on loan at Monaco

There is some confusion regarding Wigan Athletic target Honduras international midfield star Hendry Thomas and his current situation.

Thomas failed to get a work permit to join the Latics which appeared to scupper a 3 year deal which had been agreed with Deportivo Olimpia, his club back in Honduras

Now word is coming out of Honduras and France that Thomas has actually signed for the Latics and is being loaned to French club AS Monaco until he plays the requisite number of times for his country in order to obtain a UK work permit.

On the official AS Monaco website it refers to Hendry Thomas joining the club on the 18th July and Steve Bruce is very keen to get the midfield man at the JJB, maybe this is a solution that suits all parties
