Wigan looking to bring an old boy home

Wigan are believed to have asked Fulham's permission to talk to Jimmy about returning to the JJB.

Jimmy Bullard suffered an horrific knee injury in a league game at Newcastle which resulted in him being on the sidelines for over 12 months.

On his return he was instruemental in Fulham's form which resulted in them retaining their Premier League status.

Jimmy who was recently voted the player Vital Latics fans would most like to see back at the club would be a welcome addition to an already strong midfield but it remains to be seen whether Roy Hodgson would part with his influential midfielder and whether Jimmy would relocate his young family away from London once again.

A return to the Wigan ranks would mean that the JJB would certainly be a livelier place.

I would love to see him back, but I think we're gonna get Cattermore and if we do, then we wouldn't try to get him back.
