Potential Big Transfer week at the JJB

Potential Big Transfer week at the JJB

With transfer activity largely having been suspended due to the main protagonists being away in Austria the return to Wigan is expected to kick off a frenzied week of activity.

The first move is expected to be that of Marlon King to Hull City. Marlon struggled in the Premier League striker last season and has agreed personal terms with Hull. All that remains is for him to agree a severance package due to the fact that he didnt ask or a transfer. This is potentially a hefty sum and it may be a sticking point in the move.

The next move is scheduled to be the signing of Lee Cattermole from Middlesboro.
Lee is expected to have a medical tomorrow and then discuss personal terms.

Emerson Boyce is quoted as saying he is hopeful of signing a new contract this week which will be a big boost to the squad as Emerson has been a rock since signing for Wigan.

Other activity may surround Ryan Taylor, Paul Scharner and Emile Heskey as we have reportedly received bids from Birmingham , Villa and Panathinikos respectively.

Whatever happens Vital Football will keep you posted.

I dn't think he should get a large amount. If players move clubs why should clubs give them money. They'll be getting a wage from the other club
