Stoke to make bid for Brown

Tony Pulis manager of newly promoted Stoke is believed to be preparing to submit a £2 million bid for Latics teanacious midfielder Micheal Brown.

Brown who started 34 games for the Latics last season after signing for a reputed £3 million from Fulham, proved to be a fans favourite with his committed no nonsense style.

Stoke believe that Bruce may be tempted to sell with the arrival of Kapo, De Ridder and the prospect of Cattermole joining this week as this may result in Brown dropping down the pecking order .

This will also help Bruce balence the wage bill.

One thing for sure the JJB will be a duller place if Michael Brown does leave.

Brownie is too good to let go

He is like a taller Gatuzo :) I like the guy, he never quits. If let go, at least make it for the right price (4 - 5 mil) :)

He's like your old car - it's worth more to you than the insurance would pay if it got stolen. I don't think we'll get offers of that much more than £2m for him, but I'd be really sad to see him go.

Brown, play for Stoke, against us?! He'd scare Koumas off the ball in seconds. Cattermole could do with him around for a while longer.

We shouldn't let brown go not a chance. He's a big part of what we have in the engine room He's got to be worth at least 5 million, 2 million is just insulting
