Julius Aghahowa Worst Ever Latic

Julius Aghahowa Worst Ever Latic

Voters on the last poll on Vital Wigan opted for Julius Aghahowa as worst ever Latics player by a massive margin and gave a big thumbs down to the un-classy Nigerian

Aghahowa was a £2.5 million panic buy in January 2007 by former boss Paul Jewell as Latics were in desperate need of a goal scoring forward.

Apparently Aghahowa was recommended to Jewell by Stevie Wonder in a chance meeting in a Southport bar where Stevie was playing the piano.

In the words of another Julius (Caesar), He came, We saw, We shook our heads

For the record Aghahowa polled 72% of the vote of the 14 options and beat Neil Morton in to 2nd place with Morton securing 7% of the votes, a truly resounding result.

Definately the biggest waste of money in the history of Wigan Athletic Football Club

It's a bit harsh I think - but he's certainly been a big failure at the club. Hey - this pie poll is tricky: what do you do when you're vegetarian, but your favourite pie is meat and potato (preferably on a bap)?
