Wigan Athletic - Whats your favourite pie

Wigan Athletic - Whats your favourite pie

The favourite half time snack of football fans across the country has got to be a pie, they are served on every ground from the Unibond Leagues Fleetwood Town to the Premier Leagues Arsenal

Up and down the country there are different options and at the Latics a Chunky Steak is a must but in 2002 I went down to Luton for a Division 2 game and sampled a Chicken Balti 'Pukka Pie` and admit I was smitten

Using the Peter Kay Garlic Bread analogy, Chicken Balti in a pie, genius, it is the future and I have tasted it.

When I travel away with the Latics I always hope there is one of these delicacies on offer, it adds something special to the trip, Derby away, 1-0 win but most importantly a Balti pie

But alas pies have an adverse affect on the body, former Aston Villa keeper Nigel Spink recently joined the Latics and his favourite snack is also the Balti pie

He told Vital Latics as he wiped crumbs from his lips:

"Aye lads yer Chunky Steak is good here in Wiggin like, but tha carnt beat a Balti…burp"

Thanks for that Spinksy, but what is your favourite pie, what do you like to munch on at half time on a Saturday afternoon, get voting now.

When I voted, the score went up 7%, which presumably means that around 15 people have voted so far. However, meat pie has got 1%, which shouldn't be possible. I think there's some vote-rigging going on here...

Video Highlights - Wigan Athletic 0 Nottingham Forest 0

The action(?) from yesterday's game at the DW Stadium between Wigan Athletic and Nottingham Forest which ended goalless:

Report - Latics 0 Forest 0 - What A Shocker

Thirteen games to save our Championship status, first up a home game against Nottingham Forest who are on a shocking run of form, conceded 10 goals in their last three matches, three of their first choice defenders missing through injury, they had lost 11 of their 16 away games this season with a -16 goal difference on the road and sat just six points above us in the table, surely a game that we would set out to win.

Checking the team selection I felt slightly optimistic but slightly conf
