'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Wigan Athletic - The Catt`s crept in

The Latics have officially announced the signing of Lee Cattermole from Middlesbrough for a fee believed to be around £3.5 million.

The 20 year old midfield player is someone who Latics boss Steve Bruce has been keeping an eye on for some time now and Bruce said:

"He is a player with everything going for him, he is young, courageous and a tireless worker who is destined to have a great career in football, hopefully at Wigan Athletic"

Cattermole became Middlesborough`s youngest captain when he skippered the club at the age of 18.

Cattermole said about joining the Latics:

"I think the time is right for a new challenge and I can see working with Steve Bruce here at Wigan Athletic is a fantastic opportunity because this team is really going places"

Welcome on board Catt`s

Another quality signing

Some Boro fans claim he's a shed head out on the lash everyweek end with his mates.

The same was said about Bramble and Barton, Bramble was ok but look what happened to Barton, lets hope that Cattermole behaves like Bramble off the pitch
