Wigan Head for Sheffield

Wigan Head for Sheffield

The Latics head for South Yorkshire for the second time in 4 days to face Sheffield Wednesday following Tuesdays 6-0 mauling of Barnsley

The big buzz about todays friendly is that Amr Zaki is expected to make his long awaited debut after finally getting international clearance and word is that he will get at least a 30 minute run out.

The game could also see Olivier Kapo take some part after recovering from a slight knock but Paul Scharner will definitely be missing following his ankle injury at Barnsley.

Admission for todays game is £10 for adults and £5 for concessions and it is a 3pm kick-off

Friendlies don`t mean anything, especially against lower league opposition but it would be nice to give another Yorkshire side a bit of a roasting
