Wigan Athletic - Koumas and Taylor Injured?

Whilst the rest of the Wigan Athletic squad have been enjoying preseason action Latics players Jason Koumas and Ryan Taylor have been conspicuous by their absence.

With little or no word on the pair coming out of the JJB and only Taylor featuring in preseason, albeit half a game against Entrechat Frankfurt, rumours of the two players leaving for pastures new have been abound.

Well it appears that both have been suffering from 'knee injuries` and this has kept them quiet during the preseason, the first mention of the pair has come in Latics boss Steve Bruces pre Hibs game comments and very fleating they are at that.

Maybe I am reading too much into this and the pair are genuinely injured but with Koumas being such an enigma it just adds to the speculation and creates an air of mystery.

I personally hope Taylor stays at the Latics, he is too versatile to let go and he is not short on talent either, as for Koumas, the talent maybe there but the application sure isn`t and I couldn`t care less if he stays or goes

Koumas can do it for Wales. Odd.

Each time I wore my Taylor shirt he got injured (I stopped wearing it and went back to my Bainesy shirt and crocked him instead). I can confirm my taylor shirt has remained in the sacred shirt drawer for several months now. If he is injured, it aint my fault this time!

I hope these 2 dn't go and are injured. It dn't mean this in a bad way but if they are this is because we've not heard anything from them

Koumas was always a gamble at the price you paid, hence Everton's pulling out. Taylor is a player I rate. Seen them both regularly at Prenton Park in their Tranmere days. Koumas is just a waste of talent.
