Bruce pleased with 2 in 2 for Amr Zaki at Wigan

Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce is absolutely delighted with the start Amr Zaki has made to his Latics career with a goal in each of the games he`s played at Sheffield Wednesday and Hibernian.

Zaki scored the winning goal at Hillsborough on Saturday and then scored the only goal of the game in last nights match at Hibs.

Bruce said about Zaki:

"You can see he is a typical goalscorer all he is interested in is scoring goals"

"That`s why he is here, I am sure when he gets out of the hotel and gets himself settled he will be a very, very decent signing for us, I am very pleased"

"You couldn`t ask for more than two goals in as many games and he has scored goals everywhere he`s been, so we hope he can continue"

If Zaki can get his fitness right for the first game he MUST be a starter along side Heskey

If he continues in vain with his stunning performances he will be a hit in the Premier League. Well worth the wait, who needs Torres when you have Amr Zaki!
