Wigan Athletic - Who would you start up front?

Latics boss Steve Bruce may be about to face a bit of a quandary as he prepares his side for the opening game of the new season at West Ham a week on Saturday, who does he play up front?

The most obvious partnership for me is Heskey and Zaki, but is Zaki fit enough having missed half of the preseason; the last thing we want is to risk him getting a strain or a pull and being out for a few weeks.

If Bruce isn`t going to start with Zaki who should he have to partner Heskey who I am assuming will be first choice anyways

Camara was recently voted 3rd choice behind Heskey and Zaki on a poll here at Vital Wigan but I would leave Henri on the bench he is more of an impact player, so to is Sibierski who for me would always be a squad man

Sibs reads the game brilliantly and has the ability to change a game but he is so much more effective when he comes on as a sub as opposed to starting a game.

That leaves King, if King hasn`t already left.

Personally if Zaki isn`t to be risked I would start with Heskey and King.

There is a poll with your preferred forward line up on the right side of this page, why not have a vote and we`ll see who is the fans choice of strikers for the Latics

Its got to be Heskey and Zaki

I agree. That said, I'd like to see Sibierski in midfield. He's a leg.

Zaki has to start with big Emile, with Camera coming off the bench although Camera will want to put one up the Spammers after how they treated him
ZAKKY
think Zaki can play from the start and I do not think it a matter of fitness as much as finding his feet in the EPL. Until now, it looks like he grew up playing in the rain...
