Hull City Linked to yet another Latics player

There are several reports doing the rounds that Hull City are interested in signing Wigan Athletic defender Emerson Boyce

Now this smacks to me as a bit of devilment from Boyce`s agent with Boyce trying to renegotiate his contract with the Latics.

Boyce still has two years remaining on his current deal but he wants an improved contract to bring him in line with the clubs top earners.

Last week Boycie spoke to the Wigan Evening Post about how he was home sick for the South, but would love to sign on for a renewed deal at the JJB.

This week and suddenly Hull are allegedly sniffing around, sounds like someone is using this supposed interest to spark the stalling contract negotiations back into life.

Boyce told Wigan Today:

'We're in contract talks now it's been dragging on since the end of last season. We'll have to see how it goes."
