Honduras lose to Cameroon at the Olympics

Wigan Athletic potential signing Hendry Thomas played in his countries second game in the group stages of the Olympic tournament against Cameroon

The African side won the game 1-0 thanks to a goal in the 74th minute by Mbia and Hendry Thomas picked up his second booking of the tournament inas many games.

The result puts Honduras out of the tournament at the group stage and will be seen as a major disappointment back in Tegucigalpa where great things were expected of this side.

Honduras still have a final group match to play against South Korea, unfortunately the only thing left to play for is pride
