Vital Latics spoke to forum regular Rabeem about his feelings on how the preseason went lets see what he thinks:
How you doing Rabeem?
Very well thanks worbo
What`s your thoughts on the preseason?
I am very pleased with how things have panned out for Latics during pre-season. According to my calculations that's 5 wins, a draw (which could have very easily been a win if it wasn't for the penalty) and a loss.
Albeit we have played some weaker teams but those results speak for themselves, Wigan are definitely improving and Bruce's awesome business in the transfer market has paid off.
What has impressed you so far about the new Latics signings?
I am very impressed with De Ridder in particular, he just can't stop scoring and assisting which, along with our other fabulous signings and the stars we had since last season, we will make the JJB a fortress.
I have concerns about our injury problems so early what are your thoughts on this?
I agree worbo injuries are a concern at the moment with regards to key players such as Scharner, Kirkland and Heskey's on and off the pitch moments.
Let's hope they are fit for the West Ham game but regardless, I am confident Wigan will show West Ham how to play football ;)
Also, I noticed Koumas was placed on the bench for today's game, that's good news as his ball deliveries are important.
Well thanks for that Rabeem, it has been a productive preseason at the Latics and like you I too am feeling confident about next Saturday at West Ham
